This course examines the psychological and sociological variables associated with the behavior of individuals in a group or organizational setting. Students will be challenged to recognize personal styles of interaction and the effects of those styles in organizational settings.
Principles of Management (3 credits)
The course is built around the topics of planning, organizing, directing, controlling and decision-making.
Leadership Development (3 credits)
In this module, several theories will be explored that attempt to explain what leadership is and how to apply it to key areas, such as influencing individual behavior, group or team performance, and change. Stress Management (3 credits)
